A multistate outbreak of Salmonella Typhimurium was identified in 2008. A total of 135 outbreak associated cases were reported from 25 states and the District of Columbia. Reported illness onset dates ranged from March 13, 2008 to October 7, 2008. Twenty nine cases were hospitalized.
