2014 E. coli O157 Outbreak Linked to Ground Beef Sold at Whole Foods, Massachusetts

The Massachusetts Department of Public Health, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the USDA FSIS identified three patients diagnosed with E. coli O157:H7 who became ill after consuming ground beef sold at Whole Foods stores in Newton, Massachusetts and South Weymouth, Massachusetts. Illness occurred between June 13, 2014 and June 25, 2014. One person died.
