2014 Outbreak of Cryptosporidium at the Tarpon Springs Splash Park, Florida
The Pinellas County Department of Health identified 3 patients diagnosed with cryptosporidiosis. All three patients had been at the Tarpon Springs Splash Park during the incubation period during the fourth week of July. The City of Tarpon Springs completely replaced and treated the water and all associated water systems at the Splash Park on August 1.
