2016-2017 Outbreak of Salmonella Dublin linked to Pride & Joy Dairy, Washington
Washington health and agriculture agencies identified 3 cases of Salmonella Dublin linked to consumption of raw milk produced by Pride & Joy Dairy. The first case became ill on December 30, 2016. The last person became ill on November 28, 2017. Ill cases lived in Clark, King and Pierce counties, Washington. All three cases were less than one year of age. All three cases were hospitalized. Isolates obtained from patient specimens and from Pride & Joy Dairy milk were indistinguishable by PFGE.
