2016 Outbreak of Salmonella Newport Linked to Baja Fresh, Oregon
In July 2016 public health investigators in Oregon investigated an outbreak of Salmonella Newport linked to having eaten at Hollywood Baja Fresh in Portland. A total of 13 cases were reported with illness onset occurring between June 5 and July 12, 2016. Twelve cases were from Oregon and one case lived in Clark County, Washington. A specific vehicle was not implicated.
