2017 Norovirus Associated with Bombay Grill, Seattle, Washington
Two people reported symptoms consistent with norovirus after eating at the Bombay Grill located in Seattle, Washington. One person ate at the restaurant on October 16, 2017. The second person ate at the restaurant on October 24, 2017. A third person who became ill was considered to have acquired his/her infection secondarily. No one was hospitalized and no one died. Public Health Seattle King County (PHSKC) Environmental Health inspectors visited the restaurant on October 26. Restaurant management thoroughly cleaned and sanitized the restaurant before reopening.
