2017 Outbreak of Gastroenteritis At a Restaurant in Seattle, Washington
Four people residing in four different households became ill with abdominal cramps and diarrhea following an April 22, 2017 meal of burritos and tacos. Symptoms occurred between 9 hours and 21 hours after the meal. No one sought medical care and no one died. Based on incubation and duration of symptoms, investigators theorized that the outbreak was due to Clostridium perfringens or Bacillus cereus. No specimens were tested.
