2017 Outbreak of Salmonella I 4,5,12:1:- Linked to Consumption of Pork, Washington
Five people in Pierce County, Washington were diagnosed with salmonellosis after consuming pork from a whole pig roasted at a private residence on July 8. The serotype was Salmonella I 4,5,12:1-. All five visited a health care provider but none was hospitalized and no one died.
