2017 Outbreak of Salmonella Stanley, Washington
In 2017 Public Health Seattle King County (PHSKC)investigated an outbreak of Salmonella Stanley infections. Nine persons were infected with an indistinguishable strain of Salmonella Stanley. All but one of the patients lived in King County. Illness onset dates ranged from July 12 to August 25, 2017. No one was hospitalized and no one died. Investigators did not identify any common foods, restaurants, or other sources among any of the ill persons interviewed.
