2018 Outbreak of Norovirus at Lockspot Cafe, Seattle, Washington
in May 2018 Public Health Seattle King County (PHSKC) investigated an outbreak of Norovirus at the Lockspot Café in Seattle. Three people from 2 separate dining parties became ill after consuming food and beverage at the restaurant between May 12-13. PHSKC Environmental Health investigators visited and closed the restaurant on May 17. No one was hospitalized and no one died. Before reopening the restaurant will conduct a thorough cleaning and disinfection.
