2018 Outbreak of Shiga Toxin E. coli Linked to Dungeness Valley Creamery Raw Milk, Washington
On September 7, 2018 the Washington Department of Health issued a health alert notifying consumers of an outbreak of shiga toxin E. coli (STEC) linked to consumption of raw milk produced by Dungeness Valley Creamery raw milk. Lab results confirmed that a child under 5 years old from Island County and a resident in their 70s of Clallam County became ill after drinking raw milk produced by Dungeness Valley Creamery.
