Georgia Barbeque Restaurant Barbeque Pork September, 1999
Patrons of a Georgia barbeque restaurant developed Salmonella Hadar after eating at the restaurant between September 10-12. The only food that was statistically associated with illness was barbeque pork. An identical strain of Salmonella Hadar was isolated from the stool of case patients and from leftover barbeque pork samples.
