Illinois Recreational Waterpark Pool Water 2001

During August 2001, a hospital reported a cluster of Cryptosporidiosis cases. The epidemiologic investigation showed that the laboratory confirmed cases reported were more likely to have attended Waterpark A than agematched controls. Cryptosporidium was found in stool specimens and pool water samples.
