An outbreak of E. coli O157:H7 occurred among residents of one wing of a long term care facility in Brown county, Minnesota. No cases were identified among staff or residents of the other wing of the facility. The investigation failed to reveal any food storage or handling problem. The source was never determined, but appeared to be a point source exposure.
