An outbreak of Salmonella Javiana occurred among residents of the Quarry Hill Retirement Home in Camden, Maine. One resident died and one was hospitalized. The cause of the outbreak was unknown as of February 9, but was suspected to be foodborne. Quarry Hill is the residence for approximately 150 people.
