R & S Meat Hamburger 2008

A barbeque event at the Bay Club in Huntington, New York, was the source of E.coli O157:H7 for two families. A child from North Carolina had eaten a hamburger at the event and became ill three days later after returning to North Carolina. Another child, a Huntington, New York, resident, also became ill after eating a hamburger at the event. The meat for this event was produced by R & S Meat.
