Salmonella Outbreak at Abilene (Texas) Country Club, August 2012

The Abilene-Taylor County Public Health District reported an outbreak of Salmonella Group D at the Abilene Country Club in August 2012. As many as 35 persons were ill with salmonellosis. The club scored a 63 out of 100 on their July health inspection. The inspection found the club was storing fruit at temperatures there were too warm.
