Virginia Bible Study Camp Dinner Hamburgers or Tomatoes 2005
A Bible study camp was stricken with Salmonella Hartford in June, 2005. The Augusta County camp served a dinner on June 28 that included hamburgers and tomatoes. Both of these foods were found to be significantly associated with infection. Health department investigators were unable to determine specifically which food was contaminated.
